Liberation Theology is an ideology and form of Christian theology that is economically and culturally left-wing. It seeks to liberate all oppressed peoples, particularly the poor, but certain variations focus more on categories like race, gender, or caste. While it is most prevalent in Latin America, there are also significant liberation theology movements in The United States[1], South Africa[2], Namibia[2], India[3], South Korea[4][5], and Palestine[6][7][8], all of which have differences between each other.

  • Marxism - Your class analysis helped me understand how the world works, but why are you against religion?
  • Marxism–Leninism - The ELN is based, but you're usually very hostile to religion.
  • Native South-American Paganism - An unenlightened heathen, though religious syncretism could be very useful to make conversion easier.
  • Neozapatismo - I admire your drive but you don't liberate your communities by burning churches.
  • Integralism - SOCIALISM IS NOT ALWAYS AN ERROR, OK? Besides, you're often too willing to collaborate with authoritarians . Tradinistas, on the other hand, are fine.
    • - And you always side with the very same communists that burn churches and dig up nuns, my child, why does it feel to me you only justify your revolutionary positions with Christianity while disregarding the faith in your heart?
  • Reactionary Socialism - Caring for the poor and protecting the faith is based, maintaining an outdated political and economical system isn't.
