The Amish are a Christian church that originated in a schism within a group of Mennonite Anabaptists inside Switzerland. The Old Order Amish (the people we commonly call "Amish"), crafted a lifestyle that abstains from the use of most modern amenities. The Amish value the community above everything else, so they believe that working hard all of the time is the pinnacle of life. This work begins soon after Amish children reach eighth grade, as they feel that time that was once taken up by schoolwork can now be consumed with farm work. |

This article is about a fictional ideology and has no foundation in real life political movements.
Not to be confused with the non-fictional Libertarian Municipalism, South Asia Communalism and Marxism–Leninism
Communalism is an ideology that wants the complete collectivization of all property – private or personal – that inhabits a far-left area outside the political compass. This means that all that can be shared will be shared (toothbrushes, means of production, funko pops, houses, etc…).

Jonestown/Peoples Temple
Jonestown was a Peoples Temple located in Guyana. Jonestown was essentially a cult, with Jim Jones being its leader. The cult involved its members donating their personal property to the temple in exchange for basic necessities. In order to achieve greater control over the minds of his followers, Jim Jones manipulated Guyanese immigration policies in such a way so as to stop people from leaving the cult.
Anabaptists
The Anabaptists are a Christian denomination who have acquired a lot of the left-wing tendencies present in the Bible. Most significant among these beliefs is the belief that all of their followers should share their possessions with each other. This belief has shown through in the Münster rebellion, in which a group of radical Anabaptists in northern Germany attempted to form a new society based on sharing their newly collectivized property, regardless of whether it was public or private.
Amish communes
The Amish are a Christian church that originated in a schism within a group of Mennonite Anabaptists inside Switzerland. The Old Order Amish (the people we commonly call "Amish"), crafted a lifestyle that abstains from the use of most modern amenities. The Amish value the community above everything else, so they believe that working hard all of the time is the pinnacle of life. This work begins soon after Amish children reach eighth grade, as they feel that time that was once taken up by schoolwork can now be consumed with farm work.

Personality and Behavior
Communalism is usually well meaning with their desire for the abolishment of all forms of public property, but they just straight up ignore any boundaries someone may set. This includes them “sharing” other people’s toothbrushes and trying to share anything else most other ideologies see as too personal. Additionally they’re incapable of using first person singular pronouns, instead using we/our/us instead.
Communalism also has a confusing view of morality; claiming it doesn’t exist while also demonizing anyone who doesn’t want to share their toothbrush or other personal property with them.
They are not to be confused with Libertarian Municipalism, who they share a name with.
