Nordic Model is an economically moderate, civically liberal (mostly), and mostly culturally left ideology that believes in the Nordic political model. Its economic system is market capitalism with a large welfare state and a neo-corporatist bargaining system, while also having a parliamentary form of government (3/5 monarchist, 2/5 republican).

It can be debated if the model is aligned more with Social Democracy or Social Liberalism due to the similarities between the two of them. Most of its followers would claim to be the former, particularly outside of the Nordic countries.

Bernie Sanders is probably his biggest fan outside of Scandinavia.

Danish Social Democracy (In Danish: Socialdemokratiet) represents the social democratic political party in Denmark. Under the leadership of Mette Frederiksen, the party became increasingly skeptical of mass immigration from Islamic countries, globalization, and other neoliberal policies that have been adopted under the social democratic parties in Europe that have caused their political performance to decline due to the abandoning of social democratic values for the rise of third-way neoliberalism. It has been described as welfare chauvinist.

Finland

  • Sanna Marin is a Finnish politician, former congressman, former Minister of Transport and Communications and the current Prime Minister of Finland. As a congresswoman, she has served on the grand committee, legal committee, and environment committee, and has had congressional memberships on administration, futures, and finance committees.

As prime minister, she aimed to reform the Nordic Model to adapt to the environment, also opposing nuclear energy and having made alliances with environmentalists. It self-proclaims its values ​​being "freedom, equality and solidarity" and "joint and communal responsibility".
