Category:Third Position
Third Position, also known as the Third Way, or Tercerism are political ideologies which seek to transcend Liberalism and
Marxism—going "beyond the left and right"—typically going for
Corporatism or other non-mainstream economic systems like
National Syndicalism,
Distributism[1] or
Non-Marxist Socialism. They also tend to criticize
globalization,
multiculturalism and
imperialism. The third position often gets equated with
Fascism, but this is false as Italian Fascism is a variant of Third Positionist thinking. Most, but not all, Third Positionist movements, however, can be considered
quasi-fascist since they orient their views around the preservation, elevation, or dominance of an in-group (especially a nation, religion, or language).[2] The category is not representative of the specific Third Positionist Movement in Italy.
