Civil Libertarianism
Civil libertarianismball is a culturally progressive, economically center ideology who lives in the bottom left of the center quadrant. He believes in the absolute preservation and expansion of civil liberties: civil libertarianism is on the front lines in fighting for secularism, women's rights, gay rights, legal drugs and privacy rights. Civil libertarianismball doesn't have a problem with a welfare state or economic regulation but he wants a legal code that allows individuals to do anything that doesn't hurt others.Template:Namespace
Despite his name he has more in common with the center-left than Libertarianball or ancap because his focus is on legal rights rather than economic liberalism. He tends to clash with right-libertarians by opposing private coercion as much as human rights violations by the state. He can sometimes be portrayed as scholarly with nerdy expertise knowledge of the law and unyielding in his positions. Usually civil libertarianism is apathetic about anything unrelated to civil rights, legal systems and individual rights.
