• Das Kapital, A Critique of Political Economy by Karl Marx - It is simply too long, I wouldn't put in so much time and especially for an ideology I hold no sympathy towards.
  
• Industrial Society and Its Future by Ted Kaczynski - I indeed have read part of it and decided to listen to a short summary. However, I put off reading the actual book.
